Pure Vision has been given the nod to create a daily drivable monster for one of our favorite customers ….. Joe Rogan! Unlike many custom car owners, Joe drives his cars regularly and expects reliability as much as performance.

This time around Joe wanted a ‘69 Nova.

To take the Nova out of "grandma car" teritory, the body will be receiving '69 Camaro wheel arches and a '70 Camaro inspired spoiler while the interior gets a Camaro center consol and a Corvair dash.  The sheetmetal will be bathed in Atomic Silver, but it’s under the skin were the fun starts. Pure Vision will be utilizing IFS and IRS sub-frames from Art Morrison, with Bear Brakes, JRI shocks, HRE wheels and fat Pirelli rubber. Joe likes a manual transmission so a GM Performance T-56 Tremic 6 speed will be used. Now, when building a GM based muscle car, there are many, many engine options to choose from, but Pure Vision and Joe decided on something, powerful, and 100% reliable…… the supercharged LT4 direct from GM!

Since enthusiastic driving and comfort are the order, Pure Vision will be using only the best in the business on the interior. Heat and A/C from Vintage Air, steering components from Flaming River, gauges from Redline Gauge Works, a Kick sound system and Dynamat sound deadening will all be a part of the plan along with the outstanding interior work of Gabes Custom Upholstery. Top all of this with the paint and body work perfection of the crew at Mick's Paint, and Joe's going to have himself one killer street machine!
