2001 Pontiac Trans AM

Here is Pure Vision's 2001 “Special Edition” Trans Am. Of course this model never existed, but with the help of Year One, our transformation was a success. The formula was simple. Take the key visual elements of the popular 77-79 Special Edition Trans Am and apply them to the later model. To do this I used the hood and sail panel decals from a 77 model and applied them to the 2001 body.

The billet “snow flake” rims, like the decals, are also from Year One and measure a generous 18 X 10! A quick call to our friends at Pirelli got a set of meaty 295/35ZR18 PZEROS. We then replaced the stock suspension with a complete Hotchkis suspension utilising Bilstein shocks. To finish it off, we replaced the stock exhaust with a new Flowmaster system.  We hope you Firebird fans love it!
