RL's 72 Camaro
Project
1972 Camaro
Pure Vision’s first Camaro build! Yet another touché to all those non believers that cry “Pure Vision only builds Mopars”! First the Anvil Mustang and now this!
OK, enough soap boxin’- here is the low down. RL has a 1972 Camaro project that was started elsewhere but had become stalled and stagnate. Not one to give up on his dreams, RL, called up Pure Vision with hopes of reigniting the Camaro’s flame. RL’s goal is to have the baddest interstate flyer we can build him. Plans are to make the Camaro a “reacher” that can cruise from Cali. to Vegas at a moments notice, keep a blistering pace, and do it in style.
The blistering pace will be provided by a Nelson Racing Engines twin turbo 427 small block that will be able to produce a throat clearing 1500 hp! RL will be rowing gears via a 6 speed Magnum transmission modified by the good folks at Modern Driveline. All the madness will be kept cool by a custom Ron Davis radiator.
Style will be in the design details. Exterior color will be Aston Martin Tungsten. Interior will be slathered in Aston Martin Bitter Chocolate leather. Custom gauges by Classic Redline Gauge Works and Vintage Air AC are to be expected. Rims are by HRE and rubber by Pirelli. Oh, and all the body panels except the roof, quarters and doors will be carbon fiber ala Anvil Auto. Nice!
