1972 Chevrolet Camaro
This ride was unveiled during SEMA 2013 in the HRE Wheels booth where it won the prestigious "Best GM Vehicle of Show" award from Chevrolet Performance!
Pure Vision’s first Camaro build - here’s the low down! The owner of this 1972 Camaro asked us for the baddest interstate flyer we could build him. Our goal was to make the Camaro a comfortable long hauler that could cruise from SoCal to Vegas at a moments notice, keep a blistering pace, and do it in style!
By pulling heavily from the design and Grand Touring style that has been perfected by Aston Martin, Pure Vision brings you the "TT Camaro."
POWER
-The blistering pace is provided by a Nelson Racing Engines twin turbo 427 small block that produces a throat clearing 1400 hp! No need to worry though, those ARP fasteners through out the car will keep it all together.
-The driver rows gears via a 6 speed Magnum transmission modified by the good folks at Modern Driveline.
-Everything stays cool with a custom Ron Davis radiator.
CONTROL
-Pirelli PZERO rubber wrapped around HRE rims will transmit all the madness to the road.
-When things get too extreme, 6S calipers and rotors from Baer Brakes reign this beast in.
-The Jim Meyer Racing sub-frame and Ride Tech four-link rear work together with JRI coil over shocks and Hyperco springs to smooth the ride and hug the corners.
BODY
-Aston Martin Tungsten sprayed out by Mick’s Paint glitters in the sun applied over a liberal dose of carbon fiber from Anvil Auto.
-Poke around to find many subtle tweaks that make this one stand out in any crowd.
INTERIOR
-The slathering of Aston Martin Bitter Chocolate leather stitched up by Eric Thorsen Custom Upholstery won’t make you sweat thanks to a Vintage Air system.
-When not watching the road or glancing at the custom gauges designed by Pure Vision, machined at White Rhino, and “tech’ed” by Redline Gauge Works (with movement by VDO), try not to get distracted playing with the touch screen controls from ISIS.
